We fabricate the frames ourselves, so every one is made to the exact size of your opening and checked before it leaves the unit.
Double-glazed uPVC windows made to the exact size of your openings. Every frame is checked at each step in our own unit, for size, for faults and for finish, before it goes on the van. Yale window locks come as standard, and you can choose anything from a standard white handle to polished chrome.
Also in aluminium and timber frames.
Strength, style and security: the first impression of your home. Our doors are ultra secure, energy efficient and built to last, with a large seal for better insulation and sound proofing. Every JMS door comes with a Yale lock, and our anti break-in security lock has always been popular with customers.
White or a range of coloured foils.
French doors add elegance to a room from inside and out. Single or multi panel, double glazed as standard, with hardware in plenty of colours. We fit patio and bi-fold doors too, so you can throw them open and step straight out into the garden.
uPVC, aluminium or timber.
Georgian, Victorian, lean-to or P-shaped, half brick or full height glazed, in timber, uPVC or aluminium, with single or double doors. Use it for plants, for a warm place to sit, or simply for extra living space at a sensible cost. You choose the specification.
Porches made and fitted the same way.
A misted or blown unit does not always mean a new window. We replace the glass where that is all it needs, and we will tell you honestly when a frame still has years left in it.
One window at a time is fine.

You speak to the owner, not a salesman. Tell him what you have in mind, or what is wrong with what you have now.
Jim comes out, measures up, talks you through the options and gives you a free estimate. Then the rest is up to you: we will not hassle you for an answer.
Your frames are made to size in our unit on Elswick Road, then fitted by our own fitters, who clean up properly before they leave.
Honest advice
We will tell you when something does not need replacing.

The March family
JMS Windows was founded by the March family in February 2011 to supply quality windows, doors and conservatories to the local trade and to homeowners, and to make sure every job is finished to the highest standard and to the customer’s satisfaction.
Jim March runs the company and is the one who comes out to quote. Between the family, that is more than 25 years in the industry. Most of our customers come to us through recommendations, and plenty come back when they move house.
Everyone here, from the people making the frames to the fitters in your home, gives you the same level of service and works with you until you have exactly what you want. We look after you before the work starts and after it is finished, and that is the main reason we keep growing.

“I had Jim out a few years ago as 1 window was misting. I knew they were all ready to be renewed but didn't think I'd afford it. Jim priced each one and said if I just wanted to do 1 at a time that was fine. I asked about doors and he said why replace a door with the same door when it doesn't need doing?! Call in the future when they need replaced. Same with a windowsill, why replace like for like you're just wasting money. I did get all Windows done and here I am getting the doors replaced. Why did I go back? Because it isn't very often I find honesty when having jobs done and normally end up with a mess and more problems. The lads are great, no mess, quickly getting the job done and Jim is understanding and helpful, when you don't have any idea what you want.
